  • Aid in the prevention and control of C. auris infection in healthcare settings by detecting C. auris from colonized patients.
  • The test is not intended to diagnose or monitor treatment for C. auris infection.
  • A negative result does not preclude C. auris colonization or infection and should not be used as the sole basis for treatment or other patient management decisions. Results are meant to be used in conjunction with other clinical, epidemiologic, and laboratory information available to the clinician evaluating the patient.
