Rejection Criteria

This sample will be rejected if not labeled properly:

  • Must be labeled with patient LAST name, FIRST name, and MRN.
  • All blood bank samples must have HAND WRITTEN collection information (date MM/DD/YY or MM/DD/YYYY, time, initials) on the label to be accepted.
  • All information must be legible.

Clinical Indications

  • Clinically significant antibodies detectable during
    pregnancy

  • ABO mismatched transplants
