  • Remove air.
  • Remove needle from syringe.
  • Cap tightly and mix well. Mix horizontally for 15 seconds
  • No ice.
  • Route the specimen and requisition to the Rapid Response Lab tube station 905 or hand deliver to Clinical Chemistry/Rapid Response Lab located in room TW008
