Collection Instructions

Finger Stick Collection:

  • dentify and cleanse the desired puncture site with alcohol.
  • Position the lancet firmly on the side of the third or fourth finger (avoid the middle).
  • Press the lancet firmly until an audible click is heard; do not remove it prematurely.
  • Dispose of the used lancet in a sharps container.
  • Wipe away the first drop of blood.
  • Apply a well-formed drop of blood to the ACCU-CHEK Inform II test strip.
