Collection Instructions
- Collect at least 0.2 mL of fresh whole blood; avoid drawing from heparinized lines or locks.
- Mix samples thoroughly before applying to the test cartridge.
- Proceed to testing without delay.

Rejection Criteria
1. Sample contamination with:
- Tissue thromboplastin
- Indwelling intravenous (I.V.) solutions
- Alcohol cleansing solution
- Visible clotting or debris accumulation.
2. Foaming of the sample (air bubbles).
3. Hemolysis.
4. Samples collected in glass blood collection tubes.
5. Unsuspected anticoagulation with either heparin or warfarin.
9. Presence of a lupus anticoagulant.
10.Delay in testing could result in falsely low results.
11. Poor technique during blood collection and delivery to the sample well
