Test Limitations

The presence of ketone bodies can cause artificially high
results in urine. High homogentisic acid concentrations in
urine
samples lead to false results.
If preservatives need to be used for other analyte orders,
collect sample using Hydrochloric Acid (6N HCl) or Boric Acid
(5
g/L).
