samples for glucose should be
analzyed immediately to prevent contamination with bacteria.

Offsite Collection Instructions

1. Cerebrospinal fluid specimen obtained by clincal
procedures.
2. Aliquot specimen into transport tube and freeze.
2. Transport frozen on ice to laboratory.

1. Cerebrospinal fluid specimen obtained by clincal
procedures.
2. Cerebrospinal fluid must be sent to Laboratory Service
Center
Immediately for analysis.
3.Transport refrigerated (2 – 8C).
